North and South Parking Tower Security Cameras

Program Description

Planning and Community Development propose using ARPA funds to pay for installation of Security Cameras at the City owned parking towers.

Why this matters

Increasing security in the City parking structures has been identified as a need for quite some time.  Strategically placed cameras can monitor the structures for a variety of malicious activity.  

How is this eligible?

Treasury allows for ARPA to be used to mitigate financial hardship due to declines in revenue in certain industries.  Mitigation may include operations and maintenance of existing equipment and facilities.  Also, ARPA funds may be used to support the safe reopening of tourism and business districts.  The Downtown Great Falls area would fall into these categories.
