Neighborhood Council Meetings - May 13-16, 2024
Three Neighborhood Councils (NC) will be hosting meetings next week. Below is a brief summary of each meeting.
Neighborhood Council # 7's (NC#7) monthly meeting is on Monday, May 13, at 7:00 pm in the Civic Center Gibson Room. Agenda items* Ice Cream Social, Council of Councils Report, Council Vacancy, Chair replacement, committee reports, and neighborhood concerns. Neighborhood Council 7 is seeking a resident to fill a council vacancy. Interested parties must be registered voters living within the Council boundaries and willing to serve the remainder of a two-year position through December 2025.
Neighborhood Council # 1's (NC#1) monthly meeting is on Tuesday, May 14, at 7:00 pm in the Meadowlark School Library. Agenda item* includes Wilson Estate Annexation, Community Outreach, NeighborWorks Grant, and neighborhood concerns. Neighborhood Council #8's (NC#8) monthly meeting is on Thursday, May 16, at 6:00 pm in the Women's Annex of the Great Falls Transition Center, 1019 15th Street North. In Great Falls, there are currently 9 Neighborhood Councils. Their purpose is to serve the citizens of Great Falls by providing a direct link to City government within the neighborhoods. Each Council is made up of 5 members who were elected by the voters in that Council area. Website | Facebook
