There are no Neighborhood Council meetings are scheduled to meet during the week of May 31 – June 4.  Neighborhood Council #6 (NC#6) has suspended meetings during the summer months and will resume regular meetings on September 1, 2021. NC#6 council members are still accessible by phone if a neighborhood concern arises. Their contact information is located at https://greatfallsmt.net/neighborhoodcouncils/neighborhood-council-6-1. Neighborhood Council 3 (NC#3) has rescheduled its monthly meeting. NC#3 will be hosting the June meeting on June 10 at 7 pm in the Redeemer Lutheran Church Fellowship Room. Agenda details will be shared next week.

Want to serve on a Neighborhood Council? Filing for the 2021 Municipal Elections is now open until June 21. There are nine (9) neighborhood council districts within the City of Great Falls. Each district council is comprised of five (5) members elected to a two (2) year term at the election held in conjunction with the City's general election on November 2, 2021. Candidates for the neighborhood council must be a resident of their designated neighborhood district and qualified elector. All newly elected officials will take office in January 2022. No filing fees are required, but a Declaration for Nomination and Oath of Candidacy Form must be submitted to the Cascade County's Election office by June 21, 2021.

In Great Falls, there are currently 9 Neighborhood Councils. Their purpose is to serve the citizens of Great Falls by providing a direct link to City government within the neighborhoods.  Each Council is made up of 5 members who were elected by the voters in that Council area.
