Local Arby's raises funds to help the animals

GREAT FALLS, Montana – The westside Arby’s in Great Falls  a donation check for nearly $9000 to the City of Great Falls Animal Shelter this Wednesday.

Arby’s recently ran their “Round Up” campaign allowing customers to round up their purchase as a donation to a local organization. The staff had the opportunity to designate the recipient of the campaign and said the Great Falls Animal Shelter was an easy choice.

With the help of the shelter promoting the event and the passion of the employees this event was a huge success. Arby’s customers were happy to pitch in their change to help with the final total coming to $8820 raised.

“We are amazed at the generosity of Arby’s and their customers,” said Laramie Smovir, Volunteer Coordinator at the City of Great Falls Shelter. “This donation will go a long way to help the animals and the shelter.”

The shelter will use this donation to support operational costs which include: emergency medical needs, spay/neuters for the shelter animals, comfort/enrichment items, and facility upgrades.
