Next week, Great Falls Neighborhood Council #4 will hold its monthly meeting, and the Council of Councils will host its May meeting. Below is a brief summary of the meetings:
Great Falls Citizens Council (also known as the Council of Councils) May meeting takes place on Tuesday, May 24 at 7 pm in the Civic Center Gibson Room. Each of the 9 Neighborhood Councils will be represented along with 2 City Commission members. Agenda items include Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), City Composition of Lead Service Line Inventory, Police Department Update, Fire Department Update, and election of officers. Neighborhood Council #4's (NC#4) monthly meeting occurs on Thursday, May 26 at 6:30 pm at the Heritage Baptist Church, 900 52nd Street North. Agenda items* include a Good Neighbor Award presentation, Council vacancy nominations, Neighborhood Parks Update, Great Falls High School Environmental Science Student Presentation, and neighborhood concerns. In Great Falls, there are currently 9 Neighborhood Councils. Their purpose is to serve the citizens of Great Falls by providing a direct link to City government within the neighborhoods. Each Council is made up of 5 members who were elected by the voters in that Council area.

About Great Falls Citizens Council
Great Falls Citizens Council (also known as the Council of Councils) is a body made up of single delegates from each of the nine Neighborhood Councils and two Great Falls City Commission members. The Council discusses issues of citywide importance, and each delegate shares the current goals and projects of his/her Neighborhood Council. This Council convenes three times a year for a meeting, generally in January, May, and October. Special meetings are called when deemed necessary.
