DATE CHANGES FOR CANDIDATES FILING FOR LOCAL ELECTIONS

Great Falls, Montana – Due to Governor Gianforte recently signing House Bill 207 into law, the dates during which candidates may file for local elections have changed. Candidates who have already filed with the Cascade County Elections Office do not need to do anything. Those that have not filed yet may do so between May 27 and June 11, 2025. This is a change from the previous dates during which candidates could file, which were April 17 through June 16.
