The Great Falls Police Department conducts its hiring cycles to coincide with the Montana Law Enforcement Academy Basic course start dates. Currently there are 3 academy classes per yer and the Great Falls Police Department conducts its hiring cycles to time the completion of the hiring process just prior to the academy start dates. We recently closed applications but anticipate another hiring cycle for entry level officers beginning this fall. Applications for lateral officers may be opened sooner pending vacancies.
