Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts Advisory Board

Creation
Ordinance 2729 in 1997. Revised by Ordinance 2813 in December 2001. Revised by Ordinance 2928 on February 21, 2006.  Board members are appointed in accordance to OCCGF 2.8. 

Purpose
Advises the City Commission and the City Manager on all matters related to the successful operation of the Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts, including use of the Theater, Convention Center, and meeting rooms as well as common areas and facility aesthetics.  Additional information regarding the facility and upcoming events can be found on the Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts page.

Membership
Five to seven members appointed by the City Commission with an attempt to have representation from the areas of performing arts, conventions and meetings, and civic leaders.

Three year terms.

Meeting Schedule and Location
Meets the third Friday of each month at noon. Meetings are normally held in the Gibson Room of the Civic Center.

QUORUM NOTICE
From time to time there may be public events held in the Mansfield Center in which a quorum of Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts Advisory Board may be present.  Board business will not be discussed during those events.
